This is the weekly Sunshine Coast Pinball Club event, held at Sunshine Coast Pinball, C-Square Nambour, every Thursday evening at 6:30pm - until approximately 9:15pm.

We are a welcoming, friendly and encouraging group of players who enjoy meeting and playing pinball with new people. Our club events are open to all people, including beginners. You are very welcome to play with us, even if you have never played in a competitive pinball event before. It’s easy and heaps of fun.

Once you arrive and pay your $16 entry fee all of your competition games for the evening are free. Matchplay software, screened on monitors in the arcade, will schedule your games and create opponents for you to play with. You will play in pairs and the aim is to beat your partners score. The format we use is called Max Matchplay, which basically means you’ll play continuous games with only brief pauses in between, you’ll play in pairs and you’ll play a variety of different games and dIfferent players.

A touch screen monitor is used by players to input the results of each game (win/loss) and then reschedule your next game and allocate your next opponent. Once you have played 13 games, your evening is complete!

Sit back and watch the leaderboard to see where you finished! There are 3 prizes given out to players at the end of the event from our club sponsors Majestic Cinemas, Pizza Guardians and Amusement Machine Distributors.

Each event is sanctioned by the IFPA meaning all players receive world pinball player ranking points simply by playing… the higher you finish, the more IFPA points you gather. IFPA points are used to qualify for major pinball events, such as State Championships and Australian Championship Series, and even the World Championship. We are the only club in Australia offering IFPA points every week.

Monthly Mega Points (last Friday of month)

Last Friday of the month is our Monthly Mega Points Event. Starts with a huge 3 hour flip frenzy at 6pm, this is followed by a 8 player single elimination group knockout final, seeded by finishing order of the frenzy qualifier. All ties in top 8 are settled by tiebreaker game of the tournament directors discretion. No Prizes….just WPPR points!
