Our Weekly Events Are Kindly Sponsored by Majestic Cinemas, Pizza Guardians and AMD

Our weekly club event, open to all ages, skill sets and abilities. $13 entry per member, $16 non member. 6:30pm start. Matchplay tournament software is used to manage these events. Large screens display standings and games in play.
This event is endorsed (pending) by Stern Army and IFPA, delivering World Championship Ranking Points, QLD State Championship Ranking Points and 2022 Club Championship Points.

Qualifying: as we compete weekly, our qualifying formats rotate to keep it interesting for regular players.

1st and 3rd Thursday Of The Month:
Flip Frenzy

​

Flip Frenzy is super easy to play and fun for all skill sets and players. 

Players are matched up and allocated games and playing partners by tournament software. 

Players play head to head for 2..5  hours with a win earning +1  point and a loss earning  -1 point. The player with the most points at the end of the 2.5 hour qualifying period wins! Ties for top 4 broken by tie breaker game at the tournament directors discretion.

2nd Thursday Of The Month:

4 Strikes   

Our popular 4 Strikes event. 

​

Players are matched up and allocated games and playing partners by tournament software, each loss earns a strike… 4 Strikes and your out!

4th Thursday of the month:
Matchplay

Players are matched together for rounds of 3 games playing 4 players, with PAPA style 4,2,1,0 point for matches or 4,2,1 for 3 player games. Rounds are drawn up until 9pm..

Seeding is Random for round 1, then Swiss. Ties are only broken in top 4 positions. Tie breaker match will be chosen on a game by the Tournament Director, coin toss for playing order.

Fair Strikes

Players compete in groups of 4 with each winner receiving no strikes, 2nd and 3rd place receiving 1 strike and 4th place earning 2 strikes.

Monthly Mega Points (last Friday of month)

Last Friday of the month is our Monthly Mega Points Event. Starts with a huge 3 hour flip frenzy at 6pm, this is followed by a 8 player single elimination group knockout final, seeded by finishing order of the frenzy qualifier. All ties in top 8 are settled by tiebreaker game of the tournament directors discretion. No Prizes….just WPPR points!
